The periodic inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations

Overview:

This Award gives the learner an understanding of the theory and practice of verification of new installations, periodic inspection, testing and condition reporting, of both single and three phase electrical installations. The qualification follows C&G 2391-52 qualification standards and is a combination of  both the 2391-50 and 2391-51 courses.

Course duration:   7 days 

Pre-course requirements:

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification although Centres should ensure that learners have the potential to achieve the qualification unit.

Who is this qualification for?:

Electricians who verify new installations or carry out periodic inspection and testing. Electricians who wish to carry out the periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations and issue Electrical Installation Condition Reports. Those who wish to acquire new knowledge and skills.

Successful completion of the course will result in C&G 2391-52 course certification
