Objective: To provide delegates with the necessary skills, knowledge and safe working practices to enable them to safely carry out the care and maintenance of pneumatically actuated equipment including fault diagnosis

Course Duration: 3 days (Course can be split into 2 days Pneumatics/1 day Hydraulics but please note, some content may be repeated if attending split courses)

Pre-course requirements: Delegates should have an understanding of basic engineering principles and workplace health & safety

Dryers and associated filters Laminar and turbulent flow
Receivers DIN ISO 1219 Symbols
Moisture content Oils, viscosity and application
Pipework and ring mains Filtration
Boyles Law, Pascals Law Reservoirs, pumps and control valves
Pressure and volume Piping
Filter, regulators & lubricators Cylinders, accumulators & motors
Cylinders and valves Computer simulation systems
Speed control Electro hydraulics
ISO 1219 Fluid power symbols Fault finding & maintenance
Computer simulation systems

Outcomes: Successful completion of the course will result in the issue of a certificate of completion.

ALL COURSE NOTES/WORK FOLDER AND
REFERENCE MATERIAL ARE PROVIDED ON OUR PROGRAMMES.
Please also be aware there will be home study, tests (both practical and theoretical) for all our programmes.
