Today we have had the pleasure of a visit from Major Susan Dean from The Salvation Army, Heaton Norris Corps.
Over the last few weeks, staff and apprentices were invited to donate a toy for the Salvation Army Christmas appeal. Once again, we are so proud of the generosity shown within the centre and really happy to be able to donate the stack of toys and gifts to such a worthy cause.
We at Elevated Knowledge have a special bond with Heaton Norris Corps after Sophie asked if we could swap our annual ‘Secret Santa’ to a more worthwhile cause and donate to this wonderful charity instead. Everyone agreed it was a great idea and we have been donating to their appeal for the last 3 years thanks to Sophie for arranging this event.
On receiving this years offering Major Susan Dean said,” A big thank you for the donation of these toys and gifts. We have had a lot of families in need this year and your kindness will mean so much to many children, God bless”.
