What will the apprentice be doing?

You will be an essential part of the team doing things on a daily basis such as:
- Filing
- Photocopying / scanning and saving documents
- Creating and updating spreadsheets
- Communicating with customers and the public via telephone and Email Checking registrations
- Minuting / note taking at meetings
- Invigilating tests / exams
- Assisting with general OneFile (OneFile is an Electronic Portfolio System) tasks
- Resetting learner passwords on OneFile
- The ideal candidate will have some experience of Microsoft Office, this is not essential as full training will be given

Annual wage
£12,480 a year
Paid Monthly
Working week
Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm (this includes 6 hours off the job training).
Total hours per week: 37.5 hours a week

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The successful candidate will develop their skills within a busy office environment and is expected to complete their Apprenticeship within 12-18 months.
On completion you will be a qualified Level 3 Business Administrator. The administration role may be a gateway to further career opportunities in senior support roles. Further progression may well be available in other areas within our sector, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Teamwork & Independence: Sometimes you’ll work on your own, and other times you’ll be part of a team. You’ll learn how to handle both scenarios like a pro.
