Test equipment & Fault Diagnostics Course
Objective: To provide delegates with the necessary knowledge skills and safe working practices to enable them to safely undertake a range of electrical tasks in an industrial environment.
Course duration: 3 days
Pre-course requirements:
Delegates can be in any of our three levels of achievement to attend this programme, but need to have the core 5 days course knowledge from the Electrical Safety and Fundamentals to progress to the next level of moving on to be an instructed person and a skilled person going forward
Course Outline:
• Duty Holders
• Electrical Safety – the requirement for safe isolation procedure
• Electrical Safety – introduction to safety checks on motor circuits
• Types and use of test equipment
• Testing and BS 7671 (GN3 – GS38)
This is an introduction and a pre-requisite course to help delegates move forward with learning and knowledge building in the Electrical Engineering areas, and there will be home study required along with practical exercises.
