Welding & Fabrication
MIG, TIG, MMA Welding Programmes

This Welding & Fabrication MIG, TIG, MMA Welding programmes course provides delegates with the essential skills, theoretical knowledge, and safe working practices required to produce complex welded joints across a range of materials and positions.

Participants are introduced to key Health and Safety principles for welding and fabrication environments, including personal protective equipment, isolation procedures, and actions to take in the event of burns or equipment faults.

The programme covers the safe setup and operation of welding equipment, the effects of arc length, travel speed, current settings, and filler material use, as well as correct material preparation and techniques to minimise distortion.

Delegates undertake practical training in a variety of weld types and positions, followed by inspection and assessment focused on penetration, porosity, undercutting, and other critical weld characteristics.
