This Award gives the learner an understanding of the theory and practice in initial verification of both single and three phase electrical installations. The qualification follows C&G 2391-50 qualification standards.

This City & Guilds 2391-50 Initial verification of Electrical Installations qualification is intended for electricians that hold relevant Level 3 Electrotechnical qualifications or equivelant, who want to undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD), learn new skills, and enhance their understanding of initial and periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations.

Requirements
It would be expected that candidates have previously achieved a Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification or similar before undertaking this qualification.
Please note:
All delegates that they must come equipped with a copy of BS7671 2018 Amendment 2 (Brown cover) and Guidance note 3 (Yellow cover with brown stripe)
Also, not compulsory, but an advantage, if they bring a multifunction tester.
