- Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician (MOET) Apprenticeship Standard (Level 3) 36 to 48 months duration
Engineering Operative (Level 2)
12 to 18 months duration
YEAR 1
- Delivery of mandatory and optional units at EKL over 32 weeks
- This can be tailored to your requirements and can be delivered either block or day release
- Functional Skills will be delivered if required (if grade 4 in GCSE Maths/English not acheived)
- 1st year Technical Certificate via blended learning (Overlaps year 2)
YEAR 2
- Technical Certificate via blended learning
End Point Assessment (EPA) consisting of:- Practical Skills Observation (Graded Pass or Fail)
- Professional Discussion (Graded Distinction, Pass or Fail)
- Reflection Portfolio
- EPA is carried out by a government approved End Point Assessment Organisation (not EKL staff)
YEAR 1
- Delivery of mandatory and optional units at EKL over 18 months
- This can be delivered as a block or day release, this can be tailored to your requirements
- Functional Skills will be delivered if required (if grade 4 or above is not acheived in Maths/English)
- 1st year Technical Certificate via blended learning (Overlaps Year 2)
YEAR 2
- Learner in company, Technical Certificate via blended learning
- Regular visits from Employer Engagement Managers
YEAR 3
- Learner in company, on the job competency, training delivered in the company
YEAR 4
- Learner in company, training delivered in company. HNC availability opens up.
- End Point Assessment (EPA) consisting of:
