Meet Sophie Saxon
Admissions Administrator at Elevated Knowledge
With six years of experience across education and retail, Sophie is the admissions administrator here at Elevated knowledge and plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in supporting learners and employers at the start of their apprenticeship journey. From her early roles as an admin assistant and receptionist to shop supervisor positions, Sophie has built a strong foundation in organisation, communication, and people-focused support.
Holding Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Business Administration, alongside her Level 3 Designated Safeguarding Lead qualification and NEBOSH Health & Safety at Work award, Sophie ensures that every detail is handled with care, accuracy, and professionalism. Her computer is her favourite tool — the place where everything comes together to keep apprenticeships running smoothly.
What Sophie enjoys most about her role is knowing that her work genuinely makes a difference. Every form she prepares and every document she checks helps learners take their first step towards a new career and supports businesses in developing their workforce. Although her role is often behind the scenes, the impact is very real — and incredibly rewarding.

Sophie describes Elevated Knowledge as feeling like one big family. She values the supportive, approachable team and the shared goal of helping learners succeed, which creates a positive and collaborative working environment every day. Sophie never fails to get involved with anything that is going on here at Elevated knowledge and is an integral part of the community outreach team and annually, arranges donations for the Salvation Army as well as the Stockport Foodbank. Sophie also plays a key role in the Safeguarding team and is one of the staff members involved with the Learner Committee Members.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys spending time with her family and can often be found cheering from the sidelines as she watches her daughter play football on Saturday mornings. She’s especially proud of her children, who are her biggest motivation both personally and professionally.
Sophie’s advice for anyone feeling nervous about starting out:
“It’s completely normal to feel nervous when starting something new. Take things one step at a time, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes — they’re part of the journey. Believe in yourself, you’re capable of more than you think.”
