Exhibiting Companies at the Open day

Keep an eye on the website for updates as and when new companies confirm their attendance at the open day. You never know, one of them may be your next employer!

What can you expect from our open day?

Come along to see our Workshops, facilities, sample our on site bakery, meet the staff and current apprentices as well as some recruiting companies! There will be many displays and demonstrations to see and find out more about Elevated Knowledge and Engineering at it’s finest.

Can anyone attend or do you need a ticket?

Anyone can attend, the more the merrier! Come along, bring the family, tell your friends. Our training centre is a lot bigger than it looks and is sure to generate questions and interest in the world of engineering.

What time does it start?

The centre will be open all day from 9:30am but if you want to see potential employers, they will be here from 4:30pm onwards.

What time is the open day on until?

We will be open until 7:30pm with guided tours every half hour, last tour starts at 7pm.

Is there car parking available?

Yes! We have a large car park to the front and side of the building which is completely free. Car parking should not be a problem but the road to the front of the gates can be used for any overspill at busier times.

Which recruiting companies will be Exhibiting at the Open Day?

As companies confirm their attendance we will update the website to let you know who to expect to see.

It is never too late to get started

Most apprentices come to us directly from school but over the last few years we have seen an increase in college leavers and mature learners.

There is no age restriction on apprenticeships, so whether you are taking your first step or wanting a change of career direction, contact us!

How to apply?

We will need you to complete the expression of interest, preliminary application form below.

Once we have reviewed your preliminary application, will send you a link via ‘PICS’ to complete the full Application form.

Along with your Application form we will need a brief Personal statement about why you would like to be considered for an apprenticeship.

Once we have received all of your documents, you will be invited in for a testing and interview session. More details on this will be sent to you on invitation.

Once you have submitted your expression of interest form, our onboarding platform ‘PICS’ will send you a fillable application form that will ask you to complete and attach a Personal Statement (or CV) before submitting the form back to us.
