Electrical Fundamentals
This Electrical Fundamentals course provides delegates with the essential knowledge, skills, and safe working practices required to undertake electrical tasks safely within an industrial environment. It establishes a strong technical foundation for those working with electrical systems.
The programme covers core principles such as Ohm’s Law and standard units, electron theory, AC and DC systems, transformers, and single- and three-phase supplies. It also addresses protective devices and their applications, cable calculations including voltage drop and adiabatic equations, IP ratings and external influences, and common circuit types with sample layouts, ensuring both theoretical understanding and practical relevance.
Who Is This Course For?
Our comprehensive Electrical Fundamentals couse provides delegates with the necessary knowledge skills and safe working practices to enable them to safely undertake a range of electrical tasks in an industrial environment.
This is an introduction and a pre-requisite course to help delegates move forward with learning and knowledge building in the Electrical Engineering areas, and there will be home study required along with practical exercises.
Delegates would benefit from purchasing the following book prior to the course starting which can be purchased on Amazon: (see link below).
